NFL Playoffs

Now that the playoff matchups are set it’s time for everyone to make their picks. I never put money on games and I wouldn’t recommend that to anyone, but I’m just gonna buck the stats and go with my gamblers gut feeling.

AFC:

San Diego vs Indianapolis — San Diego has been playing like the San Diego we thought we knew the past couple of games. The Colts rebounded from a tough start of the season to finish playing about as well as anyone. The Chargers always seem to bring it against the Colts and they’re playing in San Diego so with that said I’m taking Indianapolis.

Miami vs Baltimore — The Ravens are better, but the Dolphins don’t turn the ball over. If Miami can play their game and keep the ball safe they have a good chance against a team that loves to force turnovers. When all is said and done the Ravens are just better so I’ve got to pick Baltimore.

NFC:

Arizona vs Atlanta — It’s heard to pick a rookie QB in a playoff game, but it’s also heard to even call Matt Ryan a rookie after the way he’s played this year. How bad has Arizona looked the past few games, I’ll answer that, real bad. So I have no good reason to go with Arizona, but I think I like them in this game at home.

Minnesota vs Philadelphia — Does anyone else feel like the Eagles should be favored by more then 1.5 points. If you were gonna put money on any game (which I still don’t recommend) this would be the game to do it on. Some people get a little worried when everyone picks one team to win, but I think this time everyone just sees the obvious, pick Philadelphia.
I’ll pick the rest of the games when the matchups are set, but I’ll go ahead and give up my Super Bowl pick …………………………………………………................... the Carolina Panthers!
